Fall Pack Family Campout

Get ready for a family space adventure at the Pack Fall Campout! Plan a fun Cub Scout weekend with activities for the whole family. We will camp at Holliday Park on Lake Benbrook. We are in campsites 102-105 at the north end of the campground. Families are welcome to camp one or both nights or make it a day trip.

The Pack Program will start on Saturday at 9 a.m. Since we will be camping for the solar eclipse, our theme is space, and we will have bottle rockets and other space-themed activities. During the campout, we will complete a service project for the Corps of Engineers.

ARRIVAL
If Camping on Friday, arrive between 6-8 pm. Holiday Park, 6000 Pearl Ranch Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76126

Google and Apple Maps will try to direct you through the entrance of North Holiday Day Use Park. The only entrance is through US Highway 377, turning on Pearl Ranch Road. Pearl Ranch Road deadends into the campground.

CAMPFIRE
At sunset on Saturday, we will have a campfire with skits, songs, and storytelling.

PERSONAL ESSENTIALS
Cub Scout Uniform • Pack T-shirt • Jeans • Poncho or Raincoat • Pajamas • Durable Shoes • Hat • Extra socks, shoes, and other clothing. Please wear Class A to camp. You may change as soon as you arrive.

MEALS
The cost per person for food is $10. If anyone has dietary restrictions, please indicate them on your registration so we can accommodate them.

Friday Night: Cracker Barrel Snacks
Saturday breakfast: Breakfast Tacos
Saturday lunch: Mac-n-Moon Cheese, Rocket Dogs, Fruit
Saturday dinner: Astronaut Tacos (tacos in a bag), Cobbler with Space Ice Cream
Sunday Breakfast: Bagel Sandwiches

ANNUAL HEALTH AND MEDICAL RECORD PARTS A/B and COVID forms
A medical form is required to be on file for each person camping, including adults and siblings. Please complete and turn in to your den leader before the campout.
